Literacy Centers

Today in literacy centers we used shaving cream to practice our handwriting. We used the magic board to learn letter sounds. We also opened the listening station for the first time. Ms. Janice help in the word family center. We learned a lot today.

Group 4:What do you want the world to know about kindergarten?

"We like to go to the computer lab. We learn on the Ipads. We just started having lunch the cafeteria. We love math. We are good at word searches. Our teacher sings in concerts. We have recess. We do morning meetings. We have a pet gecko name Bobbi. We make good funny faces. We make new friends. We have a new student."

Group 3:What do you want the world to know about kindergarten?

"We go to Spanish and we like it. We go to art and we do lots of playing and make lots of pictures. We like to play on the playground and go on the monkey bars. We like P.E. We like literacy centers. We learn how to read. We are good at learning. We also like to make silly faces. We get to do the Pledge of Allegiance everyday. We love having our blog."

"We like recess. We like to go to the library. We have Ipads. We do morning meetings. We are good dancers. We have P.E. We have Spanish. We like art. We like peep and the big wide world. We do word searches. We go to music. We like that we have a pet gecko. We like literacy centers."

• "We learn stuff. We like to go to computer lab. Our moms are mystery readers. We get books from the library. We do art. We have a gecko. We do math. We like to read. We love Spanish. We are good at reading. We are good at snap words. We are good at using Ipads."
