The Super Kinders learned about cooperation and compromise through group pumpkin carving. Each group was given one pumpkin. First, they had to design their faces on paper as a group. Students had to collaborate on one cohesive design before they could use markers to transfer their design to the pumpkin. Once they had their faces drawn on their pumpkins they were able to gut out their pumpkins with their hands. the designs were carved out and then they were able to pose with their end product. Students learned that when we work together, present ideas and compromise within a group you can make great jack o' lanterns!
